The Independent Electoral Commission in Rivers State, says it will soon publish names on Permanent Voter Cards yet to be collected for people to know that their cards are ready for collection.
The commission’s Administrative Secretary in the state, said this during a sensitization forum for leaders of political parties.
He urged leaders of political parties to inform their members of the initiative, and encourage them to pick up their cards.
Also, Spokesperson of the commission in the state, Geraldine Ekelemo says PVCs for registration done this year will be ready for collection this October.
Geraldine, in a statement also said that registration done between June and December 2021 are ready for collection at the various local government areas.
She revealed that PVCs done since 2014 and 2015 were yet to be collected across the state, and urged those yet to collect theirs to do so.
