Rivers APC lawyer, Dr. Dike who was abducted few days ago by suspected PDP thugs at INEC office in Port Harcourt has said that Certified True Copies from the commission that were seized by his abductors can be gotten online.
Dike, shortly after his release had alleged that all documents gotten from INEC to file cases at the election tribunal were seized by his abductors.
However, in a statement at the weekend, he said the party could explore the option of getting online soft copies of the documents.
He also said they can file without the documents and then call on INEC to tender the documents.
Part of his statement read,
“Those documents are also online. The party could still explore the option of getting online soft copies of the documents.
“They are public documents; we can as well reapply and pay for the CTCs and authorities will issue us the true certified copies of the election materials.
“We can still file without those documents and at the end of the day, we can subpoena, that is a witness summon, calling the person to come to court and tender documents or testify.”
“So, by this, we can call on INEC to come to court and tender the documents. The petitions we filed were gotten online.
