Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has restated his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy despite what he described as ongoing tribulations.
Speaking on Thursday during the inauguration of the Omerelu–Egbeda Road, the governor said development would continue to reach all parts of the state under his administration. He emphasized that peace remains essential for progress, noting that “the state will hardly develop in the absence of peace.”
Fubara reiterated his willingness to work with the Rivers State House of Assembly to move the state forward, stressing that collaboration among institutions is vital for sustainable governance.
He also declared his support for President Bola Tinubu, assuring that he would work with and support all groups committed to the president’s re-election bid.
