FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike says he has no regret supporting Sim. Fubara to be governor of Rivers state.
Speaking, during a banquet organized at his residence in Port Harcourt yesterday, Wike said if he wanted an Ikwerre governor, nobody would have stopped him.
According to him, some leaders did not like his choice of Fubara as governor, but had no choice than to support him to emerge.
Wike revealed that the decision was in the interest of the state, adding that nobody had what it takes to stop him if he wanted someone else.
The banquet had some leaders of the state and supporters of the former governor in attendance. However, the state governor, Sim Fubara and a former governor, Peter Odili were absent.
