The Rivers State Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Rivers State Queen of Peace Project and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, has launched a street-by-street sensitization campaign against drug abuse.
The Awareness Campaign, which kicked off from Mile 1 to Mile 3 this week, according to the Ministry aims to educate the public about the dangers of drug use and offer possible solutions to address drug and substance abuse.
It said the initiative aligns with the vision of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, who has commenced the construction of state-of-the-art drug rehabilitation centers in Rumuigbo and at the office of the State Command, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
