The Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh, has resumed field activities with visits to key healthcare project sites across the state.
Dr. Oreh, who recently rejoined her team on-site after a brief interregnum, paid an unscheduled visit to the ongoing reconstruction work at the Zonal Hospital, Degema. She also made a stop at the Model Primary Healthcare Centre in Degema, where she engaged with staff to review patient patronage and assess monthly data on antenatal care, supervised deliveries, nutrition support, and immunization coverage.
Speaking during the visit, the Commissioner reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the state.
“The real work continues, and we are here to oversee it for the good of our people,” Dr. Oreh stated.
Her visit underscores the Ministry’s renewed focus on monitoring healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that citizens across the state have access to quality medical services.
