The Commissioner for Health, Rivers State,
Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh, has flagged-off the Construction of Omuma Comprehensive Health Centre, Umuelechi-Eberi.
Oreh, who was represented by Executive Secretary, Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board, Prof. Kinikanwo Green at the event in Omuma on Friday, commended the Executive Chairman of Omuma Local Government Council for his vision, commitment and courage to embark on the project.
Green, said he felt happy when he was asked to come for the flag-off by the commissioner because he believes health is wealth
“When I was asked to come and Flag-off this project on behalf of the Commissioner for Health Rivers State, Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh, I felt so happy, because Health is wealth,” Green said.
Speaking, during the Flag-off, the Omuma Council Boss, Rt. Hon. Promise Reginald pledged total commitment of his administration in focusing on quality health care delivery and infrastructural development in Omuma Local Government Area.
The Health Centre is a 60 (sixty) bed hospital, comprising of thirty bed Male Ward, thirty bed Female Ward, Laboratory, Devotion Ward and Doctors Quarters.
