Rivers APC Governorship candidate, Tonye Cole has entered his appeal challenging the ruling of the Election Tribunal which upheld the victory of Sim Fubara.
Cole made this known in a statement Today.
The statement reads,
My People,
By now you would all have heard the word of some leaders planning to move over to Wike this week. To many of you, the news will be disappointing, to some devastating to others not surprising.
Whatever the emotional reaction you have to this news and others like it that may arise, just know that some of us still respect the heavy sacrifice paid by you, the people and lovers of APC, in the course of this struggle to liberate Rivers State and we will not relent.
We are still standing and taking the battle on till the very end. Your belief in me will not be in vain.
To this effect, our Appeal was entered yesterday 23/10/2023 and Appeal Number allocated
CA/ABJ/EP/GOV/RV/121/2023.
Remain prayerful, remain focused and keep your complete trust in God. There is nothing He cannot do.
