The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressive Congress has through the campaign council of its governorship candidate, Pastor Tonye Cole release the schedule for campaign rallies in the state.
The Campaign calendar which was sent to our correspondent by one Mr. Joshua Sampson, a leader in the APC students wing campaign team indicates that the party will kickstart its rallies in Etche on the 17th of January, 2023.
Other Local Government Areas scheduled to be toured by Pastor Cole and other party’s leaders in January are Ikwerre, Phalga, Emohua, Ogu/Bolu on the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st respectively.
Also among the LGAs are Andoni, Onelga, Abua/Odual, Khana, Asalga and Bonny on the 23rd through 28th January. The other two are Oyigbo and Opobo/Nkoro on the 30th and 31st.
In February, the campaign train is expected to visit Gokana and Tai on the 1st and 3rd and also the remaining LGAs.
Also contain on the calendar is the date for the Presidential rally of the party’s candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 16th of February and the state mega rally on the 22nd of February, 2023.
The APC governorship candidate, Pastor Tonye Cole is in the contest to succeed incumbent Chief. Nyesom Wike of the PDP along with other fifteen political parties and candidates.
