The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, says the state government has frivolously spent the sum N200 billion naira out of N2.4 trillion it has earned in six years.
Spokesperson of the party, Ogbonna Nwuke in a statement said despite owing pensioners and refusing to promote workers, the state government has spent N200 billion on unworthy courses.
Nwuke, also reacted to claims by the state government that the party was planning to use selected media houses to unfairly criticize the government.
He said maladministration, incompetence and lack of accountability is enough media campaign for Rivers people to reject the current administration.
He wondered why the current administration is jittery over calls to account for its financial transactions since it assumed office.
He called on Rivers people to support the APC, he described as the only hope for people of the state.
