Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has donated over 500 bags of rice to Omega Power Ministry (OPM) in Port Harcourt, as part of efforts to support orphans and vulnerable children.
The church disclosed the donation in a statement issued on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, expressing gratitude to the governor for the gesture.
According to the statement, the food items were received on behalf of orphans and rescued children currently under the care of the ministry.
“Thank you, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for the 500 bags of rice donated today, December 30, 2025, to the orphans and rescued children living in my house,” the statement read.
The donation has been described as a significant boost to the welfare efforts of the ministry, which is known for providing shelter, care, and support to disadvantaged children across Rivers State.
