The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of five individuals as Special Advisers.
The announcement was signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Sirawoo, mni, and dated January 1, 2026.
The newly appointed advisers are Barrister Eloka Tasie-Amadi, Professor Peter Medee, Barrister Emmanuel Frank Fubara, Hon. Victor Ekaro, and Dr. Darlington Oji.
According to an official statement, the appointees will be formally sworn in on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House, Port Harcourt. The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 12:00 noon, with invitees expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m.
