The Rivers State Government has called on civil servants and pensioners who have not received their August 2025 payments to urgently submit their details for verification.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Acting Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Inyingi S. I. Brown, directed affected staff to report to their respective Permanent Secretaries or Heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) for collation of records.
Similarly, pensioners yet to receive their August entitlements are advised to visit the Pensions Board or the Pensions Office in the Ministry of Finance to submit their details.
According to the statement, the exercise will run from Monday, September 8 to Wednesday, September 10, 2025, to enable the government address the issue promptly.
Dr. Brown assured that the government recognizes the importance of salaries and pensions to workers and retirees, stressing its commitment to resolving the delays swiftly.
