Former state lawmaker and factional chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Hon. Golden Ben Chioma, has joined the Social Democratic Party.
Golden Chioma disclosed this during an interview with Premium Times.
The former member of the Rivers State House Assembly, had few days ago resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress, citing “poor reward system.”
After his resignation, he was accused by Chris Finebone of leaving the APC after he fell out with Sen. Magnus Abe over his(Abe) refusal to join the SDP to contest the 2023 governorship election.
Meanwhile, there are reports that more persons that resigned from the APC, would join the SDP ahead of the 2023 elections.
