Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, representing Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives is set to give out free jamb forms to 500 students from his constituency who are willing to participate in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME).
The lawmaker who made this known in a statement also announced a scholarship for two students who score 300 and above in the 2024 exam.
His statement reads,
Due to the importance I have attached to education in my Constituency, I have resolved to sponsor about 500 aspiring students who want to participate in 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Education has proven to be the bedrock of our nation, hence we cannot relent in our efforts to educate and develop our young constituents.
I have further resolved to offer scholarship to students of Etche and Omuma origin who will score 300 and above in 2024 UTME.
Please note: The scholarship is different from the 500 free JAMB registration scheme.
