Residents of Owu-Ogono in Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area have received a major boost in access to safe drinking water following the completion of a solar-powered borehole with a treatment facility.
The project was delivered by the Member representing Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Allison Igbiks Anderson, as part of efforts to improve community welfare.
Community members say the intervention will help ensure clean, safe, and sustainable water supply, reducing health risks and easing the burden of sourcing potable water.
The initiative, has been widely commended as a tangible sign of effective representation and a commitment to grassroots development.
