The Rivers State Palliative Committee says eleven local government councils have so far received bags of rice.
Chairman of the Committee, Desmond Akawor disclosed this in a statement Today.
According to him, other Councils will receive theirs in the coming days.
He said the number of bags given to councils is based on the number of wards they have.
He warned chairmen against favouritism and urged them to be transparent in the distribution of the items.
