Rivers Election Petition Tribunal Moves to Abuja

The Rivers State Governorship and State assembly election petition tribunal has been moved to Abuja.

The Secretary of the tribunal Abubakar Umar said the move followed petitions of insecurity in the state by candidates of the opposition political parties.

Recall that the tribunal received over seventy petitions challenging the elections won by the PDP.
