Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has been warned by some elders of the state to be careful of returnee commissioners who are allies of the FCT, Nyesom Wike.
Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe, who spoke on behalf of the Elders on Tuesday said when someone’s enemies are known, he pushes them away or keep them at arms-length.
“When your enemies are known, you push them away or you keep them at arms-length. But there is this saying that you cannot allow your enemies to be your guard because they will one day assassinate you.” he said.
He also warned the commissioners against frustrating the current administration, and urged the governor to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to Rivers people.
