Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the just concluded National Assembly elections in Rivers East Senatorial District have called for cancellation of the elections.
Ezemonye Ezekiel Amadi, the candidate of Ikwerre/Emouha Federal Constituency who spoke on behalf of the candidates made this known in a statement in Port Harcourt, Today.
According to him, the results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission is not a reflection of what went down across the senatorial district, adding that the elections were marred by irregularities.
He called on the electoral umpire to cancel the election and conduct fresh elections in the affected areas.
