The Civil Society Organisation in Rivers State says it will carryout an online protest with the hashtags #BlackFriday! #EndPoliceBrutality! and #JusticeForSleek! today.
The protest is being carried out against the Police owing to the death of aspiring musician, ‘Sleek’ in Obio-Akpor.
A member of the CSO, Enefaa Georgewill made this known in a radio interview in Port Harcourt yesterday.
He called on residents to join in the online protest by uploading pictures in black on their social media handles with the above-mentioned hashtags.
He also called on the leadership of the State Police Force to ensure justice is served on the matter.
