The Rivers Elders Forum says it is not fighting for Gov. Sim Fubara but the state.
Leader of the Forum, Chief, Anabs Sara-Igbe said this in a statement on Monday.
He said the group is interested in the development and betterment of the state, adding that it has not received a dime from the governor.
According to him, Gov. Fubara is still indecisive in the ongoing crisis in the state as Rivers people will stand by him when they know his stance.
He stated that the indecisiveness of the governor is what is fuelling the activities of the Amaewhule-led assembly.
