Two members of the Rivers House of Assembly who were among 27 pro-Wike lawmakers that recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress have returned to the PDP.
The lawmakers, Tonye Adoki and Linda Stewart reportedly apologised to Governor Fubara and pledged their loyalty to him.
The state Commissioner for Information, Joe Johnson in a statement said more lawmakers are jostling to return to the party.
Meanwhile, one of the lawmakers, Hon. Tonye Adoki had denied returning to the PDP, describing the report as fake news.
