A group known as Ogoni Development Drive says it has commenced Mobilization and Sensitization to Recall three members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The lawmakers are, Deputy Speaker of the House – Hon. Dumle Maol representing Gokana constituency Hon. Aforji Igwe and Hon. Barile Nwaakoh representing Eleme and Khana Constituencies respectively.
The group in a statement accused the lawmakers of abandoning their core mandate to collect what they described as “peanut” to endorse the impeachment of Governor – Sim Fubara, just to please an individual who does not have the interest of the state at heart.
The group also called on members of the various constituencies to sign the petition to ensure the lawmakers are removed.
