Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has stated that leaving office is the worst possible outcome for him amid the ongoing political crisis in the state, emphasizing that he remains undeterred.
Speaking on Monday at the inauguration of residential quarters for Government House staff in Port Harcourt, Fubara dismissed concerns about his political future, asserting that he is not afraid of the challenges he faces.
“I’m not scared of anything; the worst that can happen is for me to leave office. Am I leaving the earth? Will it stop me from existing? I’m not bothered about that. The right thing must be done and said when the opportunity is given to us,” he said.
His remarks come amid heightened political tensions in the state, reinforcing his stance on governance and accountability.
