Former factional speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Edison Ehie, has dropped his lawsuit against 25 of the 27 members of the House who defected from PDP to APC last year over alleged contempt of Court.
His lawyer, Mac-Barango Esq, in court Today, drew the attention of the Judge of a Notice of Discontinuance submitted by his clients when the case came up for hearing.
He requested that the court implement the Notice. His request was not challenged by the defendant’s counsel and as such was struck out.
