A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Rivers State House of Assembly to go ahead with its constitutional duties.
The Court in its ruling today, also restrained the Rivers State Government, its agents or privies from withholding funds for the Assembly, disturbing the Assembly’s Clerk & or Deputy Clerk or disrupting the functioning of the State House of Assembly.
The Assembly faction led by Martin Amaewhule sought the order of the Court after two previous court rulings ordered both parties to maintain status quo.
