The Victor Oko-Jumbo-led Rivers State House of Assembly, says Gov. Sim Fubara has done nothing wrong to warrant Impeachment, and that nobody will be allowed to be Governor of the state through the back door.
Jumbo, during plenary on Monday said those interested in becoming Governor of the state should wait till 2027 and present themselves to Rivers people for election.
He also said that anyone wishing to contest for the Rivers State House of Assembly should wait till 2027 and present their manifestos to the electorates.
He stated that the House is solidly behind the governor, and will continue to support him to deliver the dividends of Democracy to Rivers people.
