Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara said he would not have constructed roads in Obio/Akpo Local Government Area of the state if he were an evil person.
Fubara, said this while inaugurating Okocha road in Rumuolumeni community, Obio Akpor LGA on Tuesday.
“At this time, if I was an evil person, I would say, ‘I wouldn’t come here,’ considering the nature and the location of this place.
“But, because it is our duty in government to provide services, protect lives and property, we have to come to make sure that our people here are happy,” he said.
Obio/Akpor LGA is the home of former Governor of the state and now FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike – who has been at loggerheads with Fubara.
