A Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out a suit by Hon. Martins Amaewhule and his men to restrain INEC from conducting a fresh election to fill their seats for defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC).
Justice Peter Lifu, in his ruling, on Wednesday struck out the suit after it was withdrawn by the lawmakers who were plaintiffs in the case.
Recall that the lawmakers had on the floor of the Assembly announced their defection from the PDP to the APC.
