A State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has sentenced three persons to death by hanging Today, for the kidnap and murder of a lawyer, Samson Nworlu few years ago.
Justice Chiwendu Nworgu gave the ruling after the three suspects Gift Amadi, Wilfred Jumbo and Chiwendu Alozie were found guilty of the charges levelled against them.
The suspects were convicted for kidnapping, conspiracy to murder and murder.
They had kidnapped, killed and buried the victim after receiving a ransom from the family. The suspects were arrested in 2016.
