Federal High court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has sentenced Abdusalam Taofeek, Youbowei Loveday and Kareem Fatai to one year imprisonment each.
The convicts, were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, after they were arrested by the Nigerian Navy at the Onne axis of the state, on Thursday.
The three men who were arrested with 1,000,000 litres of illegally refined products were convicted for conspiracy and illegal dealing in petroleum products.
Justice A.T. Mohammed convicted the suspects after they had pleaded guilty to one count charge.
