The Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers have condemned that abduction of one of its members, King Aarom Ikuru, of Ikuru town, in Andoni local government area.
Chairman of the Council and Amanayanabo of Opobo Kingdom, King Dandison Douglas Jaja made this known in a statement, yesterday.
The monarch said the ugly incident simply shows the level of decay the country has fallen into, as traditional rulers are also not speared in the wicked act of kidnapping.
He called on the Rivers State Police Command and other security agencies to ensure the release of the first class monarch.
King Dandison also appealed to the abductors of King Aarom to ensure his safety, as all issues surrounding his abduction would be resolved.
