The Rivers State Council of Islamic Affairs, has called on the Federal Government to arrest and prosecute members of Islamic groups supporting the activities of terrorists in the country.
Vice President of the association, Nasir Ohor in a statement yesterday, said terrorists are not muslims but criminals.
He said the government has spent too much time identifying terrorists who ought to have been arrested.
He noted that imams have become targets of terrorists because they do not support their beliefs.
Nasir added that Nigerians want terrorists arrested, as he urged imams to continue sensitizing their people on the dangers of crime.
