Omega Power Ministry, OPM, is currently constructing a free school in Bille, Degema local government area of Rivers state.
General Overseer of the church, Apostle Chibuzor chinyere made this known in a statement at the weekend.
He hailed the people of Bille for their support and promised to site more projects in the community.
His statement reads,
Construction of OPM free school currently going on in BILLE, DEGEMA in Rivers state.
Do you know before, I was afraid to open free school in BILLE DEGEMA. A lot of people called and warned me that my workers will be kidnapped. That boys there are very bad and many unprintable things I can not say here. I almost gave up even before and after buying the land to build the free school.
Discouragement everywhere.
But opposite is the case.
Among every community OPM has been building 28 free schools, I can boldly tell you BELLE DEGEMA is the best. The youths, the elders and chief are over friendly and kind.
No single harassment and very very accommodating.
Am really shocked why people will discourage me like.
Sometimes is good to close your ears and take risk.
BILLE DEGEMA PEOPLE MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU.
Infact all those multi national companies relocating to Lagos from port harcourt, come back I have seen a place.
Rivers state is not as bad as you read on social media, it’s all amplified. REMEMBER IT IS THE TREE THAT HAS FRUIT THAT CHILDREN THROW STONES ON.
