Former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi has said that the administration of Governor, Nyesom Wike is making life difficult for Rivers people.
Amaechi said this during a stakeholders meeting in Emouha local government area few days ago.
According to him, the current administration is only interested in putting money in their pockets and not to serve Rivers people.
He urged Rivers people to vote massively for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in next year’s elections, adding that the people will enjoy the good things as it was between 2007 to 2015.
He also asked the people to compare how life was when he was Governor of Rivers from 2007 to 2015 and 2007 to 2022 when Governor Nyesom Wike is in charge.
“When we were in government, we realized that you had challenges in medical, we built health centres. We realized that your children need to go to school, we built schools. We realized that you didn’t have money to pay school fees, we paid school fees,” he said.
“These people came but put the money in their pockets instead of serving you. Be rest assured that if we win, we will serve you.’ ‘But most importantly, don’t just sit here. Go and get people out of their houses to vote APC. You must go out there and sell our programmes to the Rivers people. We will win the election,” he added.
