The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Civil Servants (NUCS), Rivers State Chapter, Chukwuka Osumah, has accused some permanent secretaries of engaging in actions that allegedly undermined Governor Siminalayi Fubara during the period of emergency rule in the state.

Speaking during a radio interview on Nigeria Info FM’s Morning CrossFire, Osumah alleged that certain permanent secretaries compromised their integrity and professionalism for personal gain.

He condemned the conduct of the affected officials and expressed full support for any disciplinary action the governor may take. Osumah further warned that any civil servant found culpable could face suspension or outright dismissal from service.
