A group known as United Barbers Association has endorsed the governorship candidate of the social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe for the March 11 governorship election.
The group endorsed Abe during a meeting at Freedom House in GRA Port Harcourt at the weekend.
Secretary of the group, Ichenwo Princewill said they decided to support Abe because he is a true leader who has the interest of the people at heart, and has what it takes to transform the state.
He said they will embark on a door to door sensitization campaign for the SDP candidate, and that a day will be set aside every week for free hair cuts as another means of campaigning for Abe.
The SDP Guber candidate in his response commended the group for the endorsement.
He assured the group that he would build a prosperous Rivers State if elected and that they will be partners in his government.
