The Rivers State House of Assembly has commended three daughters of the state for their exceptional performance and good deeds.
They are, Rena Wakama, Coach of the reigning D’ Tigress, Nigeria’s female basketball team, and Pallas Kunaiyi Akpanah, a player in the team.
Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, commended the trio for their display of steadfastness and candour; adding that the three illustrious daughters of the State should be applauded in good measure.
The Speaker in a show of appreciation, donated his salary for the month of August to Kekwaru Ngozi Mary for her sterling display of candour.
The House resolved among others to send letters of commendation to the trio for making the State proud.
