The Rivers State House of Assembly is currently screening about 9 former commissioners who resigned from Gov. Sim Fubara’s cabinet following the political crisis that rocked the state.
Recall that the commissioners had resigned their appointments citing various reasons due to the crisis.
As you may the State Assembly had in a statement invited the commissioners for screening and reconfirmation.
However, it was yet to be confirmed if the names were forwarded to the Assembly by the state governor, who had in different fora said he is committed to implementing the peace deal brokered by President, Tinubu which includes reappointing the resigned commissioners.
