The Hon. Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly has commended President Bola Tinubu for revitalizing the Port Harcourt Refinery.
The Assembly during plenary on Tuesday, urged the Federal Government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited to redouble efforts in tackling energy inadequacy by resuscitating the ailing Warri and Kaduna Refineries.
Moving the Motion to commend President Bola Tinubu, the honourable Member, representing Eleme Constituency, Hon. Igwe Aforji, applauded President Tinubu for his uncommon leadership in providing the needed logistical support for the resuscitation and revitalisation of the Port Harcourt Refinery.
Commenting on the Motion, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule, lauded President Tinubu’s leadership style, adding that reviving a Refinery that has been in comatose for decades speaks volumes of Mr. President’s commitment to energy sufficiency in the country.
