The Rivers State House of Assembly on Monday confirmed five commissioner nominees and rejected four others during plenary.
Those confirmed by the Assembly include Mr. Tonye Bellgam, Professor Temple Nwofor, Dr. Peters Nwagor, Mr. Lekue Kenneth, and Sir Amairigha Edward Hart.
However, the lawmakers declined to confirm Professor Datonye Alasia, Mrs. Charity Deemua, Tamuno Williams, and Otonye TKD Amachree.
The confirmation exercise followed the screening of the nominees by the Assembly as part of the process of constituting the state executive council
