Governorship candidate of the Accord party in Rivers State, Dumo Lulu-Briggs has reacted to the appointment of polling unit advisers by governor, Nyesom Wike.
Dumo, in a statement yesterday said the appointments have confirmed that there is hunger and hardship in the state.
He described the appointment as vote buying and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to investigate the matter.
He also said that making such appointments few months to election is questionable.
Governor, Wike had few days ago appointed thousands of special Assistants on polling units across the state. He had in a statement said it was time for “stomach infrastructure.”
