The All Progressives Congress in Rivers state says it will challenge the Executive Order 22 by the state government at the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt.
The campaign council of the party made this known yesterday, while announcing the cancellation of its rally against the Order scheduled for Today.
The party said it cancelled the walk because the Police refused to clear them for the exercise.
It said the Order is a ploy to stop opposition parties from carrying out political activities ahead of next year’s election.
The party urged its supporters to remain calm and law abiding as it will contest and win next year’s governorship election in the state.
