Some members of the State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, have reportedly suspended the party Chairman, Emeka Beke.
One Chike Enyinda made this known during a press briefing with other members of the party Today.
The committee also appointed Omiete Eferebo as the new Acting Chairman of the party.
However, Emeka Beke has insisted that he remains the chairman of the party, adding that the masterminds of the suspension lack the powers to do so.
