The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, has reacted to claims by Governor, Nyesom Wike that its leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi can no longer enter the presidential villa.
Gov. Wike had berated Amaechi during the commissioning of a project in Port Harcourt, describing him as a failed leader who could not attract a single project to the state while in office.
This was after the former governor questioned Wike’s absence at the funeral of former four-time federal minister, Alabo Graham Douglas in Abonnema, Akuku-Toru Local Government Area on Saturday.
However, spokesperson of the party, Darlington Nwauju said Amaechi still has a wonderful relationship with President, Muhammadu Buhari and his family, and there was no need going to Ask Rock to prove that.
He debunked claims that the former minister attracted no projects to the state while in charge of the Ministry of Transportation.
He went ahead to list over 18 projects initiated by Amaechi.
