Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Chris Finebone has said that those who protested at the party’s Secretariat in Port Harcourt, yesterday, were taught new lessons.
Finebone, who made this known in a chat with journalists today, said the party’s Secretariat has been calm since then.
According to him, it took the intervention of the Police for normalcy to return to the area.
He said despite the protest, the screening committee screened about 61 aspirants, as 29 others will be screened today.
He noted that ward congresses were held across the 319 Wards in the state, and that the Local Government Congress will hold in the 23 LGAs of the state, today.
