Factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, and ally of the former Minister of Transportation, Chief, Emeka Beke says they are still in court on who is the authentic chairman of the party in the state.
Speaking, during an interview in Port Harcourt Today, Beke said the court will decide the chairman of the party in the state.
According to him, Rivers State is the only state in the country with two factions and wondered why the National leadership decided to appoint a caretaker committee when his tenure had not elapsed.
On the defected Rivers Assembly lawmakers, Beke stated that they were not known to the party as they were only deceived by Tony Okocha.
He also reacted to the decision of Sen. Magnus Abe to work with the FCT Minister, stating that he has the right to work with whoever he chooses to work with.
He called on Rivers people to support the current administration in the state as politics was over.
