The Emeka Beke-led All Progressives Congress in Rivers state, has accused the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje of encouraging the disobedience of court judgment.
Spokesperson of the faction, Darlington Nwauju made this known in a statement after the inauguration of newly elected executive members of the party led by Tony Okocha by Abdullahi on Saturday in Port Harcourt.
According to him, they will institute a contempt of court against those who disobeyed the court ruling restraining the conduct of congresses in the state.
As you may know, a Court in Rivers state had sacked Okocha as CTC chairman of the party and reinstated Emeka Beke. The court also restrained the conduct of Congresses in the State. However, the party went ahead with the Congresses which produced Tony Okocha as substantive chairman of the party.
