The Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has struck out a case brought before it by some aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State against former Caretaker Chairman, Issac Ogbobula.

Justice C.N. Wali struck out the matter, today.

The aggrieved members, Alabibo Soibibo and Ogechi Edwin were seeking an interlocutory injuction against the APC and it’s former Caretaker Committee Chairman, Issac Ogbobula over the conduct of congresses in Rivers State.

The claimants had approached the court to stop the Rivers APC from participating in last Saturday’s National Convention of the party, and order a fresh Congress, for allegedly refusing to allow them access to nomination forms after making payments.

The judge was expected to deliver judgement before the Convention, but failed to, and adjourned the matter till March 31 2022.
